Why do I need to upload a photo to my Cineville card?
The Cineville card is personal and cannot be used by anyone other than the cardholder. That is why your photo is on the card, together with your name and date of birth.
When you show and scan your card at the cinema, the staff check that it is you on the card. It is therefore important that you upload a clear photo of yourself. Avoid sunglasses or hats, a face turned away from the camera, other people in the photo, or standing too far from the camera. Thank you!
